KOTA KINABALU: Sabah has recorded a total of 112 positive Covid-19 cases as of Thursday, an increase by nine from 103 cases the day before. 

 

Lahad Datu still topped the list with 33 cases, followed by Tawau with 25, Kota Kinabalu (13), Sandakan (8), Kinabatangan (8) and Beaufort (5), while Kota Belud, Tuaran, Sipitang, Kunak, Putatan, Papar and Semporna recorded below five cases each.

 

Nationwide there were a total of 900 positive Covid-19 cases as of noon Thursday, an increase by 110 from 790 cases on Wednesday. 

Of these, Selangor topped with 223 cases, followed by Kuala Lumpur with 123, Sabah (112) and Johor (101). 

 

The Health Ministry’s Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) also reported 15 patients had been cured the same day, bringing the total to 75 as of Thursday. 

Twenty cases were still warded in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), while death cases remained at two. 

 

A total of 821 patients are still undergoing treatment in the hospital.
