KOTA KINABALU: Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has announced an additional allocation of RM160 million for the Ministry of Health to be channelled to 26 hospitals throughout the country to fight Covid-19.

The Ministry of Health in a tweet Wednesday also mentioned RM259 million had been set aside to acquire equipment, medicines and other things.

Meanwhile, the first batch of medical equipment from China is on its way to Hospital Sungai Buloh, said Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein as quoted by Bernama
