KOTA KINABALU: The Ministry of Health on Monday announced 125 new Covid-19 cases nationwide, most linked to a recent Kuala Lumpur mosque gathering.

An update from the ministry said 99 of the new cases are related to the tabligh gathering at the Masjid Jamek Sri Petaling.

The increase brings the total number of cases to 553, 511 of whom are being treated while the rest, 42 patients, have been discharged from hospital.
