KOTA KINABALU: Eleven new Covid-19 cases have been announced in Sabah, bringing the total to 26.

Nationwide, Saturday sees an increase by 41 cases -- 37 patient-under-investigation cases and four close-contact cases -- bringing the total to 238 cases.

To date, 203 cases are being treated at hospital and five are needing breathing assistance in intensive care units, said Health Director-General Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah in a statement.

He also urged the public against spreading false information on a recent tabligh (Muslim missionary) gathering in Kuala Lumpur, which had became the latest transmission cluster.
